IAN WEHRLE played Jackie previously OffBroadway at St.Luke's Theater and The Davenport Theatre and at The Willow Theatre in Boca Raton, Fla.He is an active composer and arranger and a founding member of the Ultrasonic rock orchestra. He has recently finished work for the NBC Olympics and various music direction and sound design for theater. He is credited at the Food Network, MTV, and FOX and is continually in development of new musicals and television music. He was recently commissioned to write the music for GILGAMESH for NYU. She is the daughter of Broadway Comic Jackie Mason and playwright Ginger Reiter. She often appears in the touring version of The Jackie Mason Musical,
Cherrill Rae Yates, featured singer of ComicOpera, opening for International acts inlaying Mashmakan, Sly and The Family Stone and others. She began her professional singing career at the age of 18. She was signed by A&M records in 1980 and had a hit single with a remake of the old Doris Day song “Que Sera Sera”. Along with her first husband, Robby Rae, hosted their own network Canadian Broadcast show called The Raes on CBC for two seasons (1978–80). Their second album included "A Little Loving" (keeps the doctor away) which led to appearances on Soul Train and American Bandstand.. Cherrill had a series of hit records following her divorce.
After retiring from a 30-year career in law enforcement as an SVU detective, Michael is now pursuing his dream of acting and music.After playing the drums in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar, Michael got the acting bug and began studying acting at Broward College in South Florida. He then had the extraordinary opportunity to audition for Mr. Burt Reynolds at the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Television for Mr. Reynolds’ Master Acting Class and Mr. Reynolds accepted Michael into his class. Michael studied with Mr. Reynolds from 2003 through 2012 and had the extreme pleasure of performing numerous showcases under his direction. Mr. Reynolds chose Michael to be his stand-in for an ESPN Commercial which Michael looks back on as one of the many incredible experiences with Mr. Reynolds. Mary is a passionate and multi-hyphenate AEA artist. Her work has been seen Off-Broadway and regionally as a Director, Writer, Performer, Producer and Choreographer. Bachelor of Fine Arts from CSF. Recent acting credits include: Cathy, The Last 5 Years(Mysterium East) Louise, Gypsy (The Secret), Sarah, Sarah Was Mine (Cherry Lane) Sophia, Sophia (June Havoc) The Girl, Omotenashi Journey (Carnegie Hall), Helena, Midsummer (Mysterium) and Gertrude, Hamlet (Compass Rose). As artistic director of Heart String Theatrical she created the streaming live/filmed piece Loving You Always. Her cabarets raise money for organizations including the NAACP and ACLU. Written works; My Shadow and Me (Cape May Stage) and Start With I Do (Chain One Act Festival) audience choice award winner. FIlm: Lead Dancer/Choreographer Dream of Spring. She is the Youth Artistic Director at AMT Theatre. Some favorite directing/choreography credits include; Omotenashi Journey (Carnegie Hall), Hair (The Secret Theatre), The Prom (AMT Theater), and Start With I Do (The Chain).
Lauren received her BFA in Drama and Musical Theatre from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. During her time at NYU she studied at The Lee Strasberg and Collaborative Arts Project 21 Studios. She also attended a musical theatre training program at Carnegie Mellon University and spent several years studying with Terry Schrieber of the T. Schrieber Studio in NYC. Lauren has performed on stage as well as in commercials and on film. As a teacher and director Lauren has created several drama programs. She has worked as a director, acting and vocal coach. She has also taught Adult Acting and Playwriting Workshops at the Delray Beach Playhouse. Lauren played the role of TRIXIE in ‘The Jackie Mason Musical’ before and is thrilled to be part of this production once again!
Patricia is delighted to reprise her role as Rosa, having first performing it in
New Jersey. Favorite roles include M’Lynn (Steel Magnolias), Florence (Female Version of the Odd Couple), Aunt Abby (Arsenic & Old Lace), and Clara (Flamingo Court) – for which she received a nomination for Best Actress in a Drama. Patricia is a board certified pediatrician. She is also a volunteer for the Make A Wish Foundation of New Jersey where she helps grant wishes to children with. life threatening illnesses. She has been a CAP facilitator for over 30 years, to empower children in standing up to bullies and strangers and to prevent sexual assault. She is delighted to be working with Sheba, Ginger and Ian again.
Vicki has played the role of Rosa in The Jackie Mason Musical in Fort Lauderdale, at The Studio Theatre in Lindenhurst, New York, and at The Willow Theatre in Boca Raton. This is truly strange since she reports that that of the multitude of roles she ever played, the role of Rosa is is the one she hates the most and dreads doing, an attitude which the director states, is perfect for the role.
He and wife, Patricia Baran founded The Curtain Call Players. He has produced several plays including Steel Magnolias, Arsenic And Old Lace and others. Tom is happy to appear on stage in minor but memorable roles.
Composer/Playwright of "Solomon & Sheba & The Drag Queen"; "Mel Schwartz Sleeps with Mae West", she wrote"The Jackie Mason Musical" two years before their daughter Sheba Mason was born. The show was always a work in progress until the passing of Jackie Mason in 2021. She claims that a her ten year affair with the legendary Comic was more than a romance - it was an education., and that Jackie was a genius.
Born and raised in New York, Ike Reeves is no stranger to the music of the Broadway Stage and is gifted with instinctive feelings regarding Broadway style musicals. He has been in show business since the age of twelve, and has brought his arranging talents to Florida where he enhances and enriches old songs and - as in The Jackie Mason Musical - new original music, by creating virtual symphonic orchestras using sophisticated equipment which sounds
